An original complete and named WW2 cased Bronze Star medal set. The medal comes in its original case of issue together with its ribbon bar and lapel pin. The medal comes with a slot brooch mechanism and its original ribbon, indicating production during WW2. The Bronze Star is script engraved with "William A Gonzalez". Gonzalez served in the European Theater of war. Gonzalez received multiple awards of which his Purple Heart, American Campaign and Good Conduct Medal are also still present, and as can be read on the research sheet. Great interesting set in great condition! No repairs, no damage.

 

Would make an interesting research project to find out more about Gonzalez and his service during WW2!
