254 Infanterie Division Soldbuch - 4 Awards - Combat Medic - Holland
A very nice Soldbuch opened in August 1939 to pionier Matthias Muller who was part of the 254 Infanterie Division. First as a member of Pionier-Bataillon 254 and from 1941 onward as a medic as part of Sanitäts-Kompanie 254.
Muller received the following awards:
24/08/1942 - Eastern Front Medal
01/09/1943 - KVK 2nd Class with Swords
31/12/1944 - Iron Cross 2nd Class
23/02/1945 - General Assault Badge
Muller Participated in the following campaigns with the 254 ID:
- Invasion of Holland/Belgium 1940
- Dunkirk/France 1940
- Riga 1941
- Leningrad 1941/43
- Wolchow 1941/43
- Demjansk 1943
- Slovakia 1944
- Upper Silesia 1945
The Soldbuch is complete albeit the order of the pages has been mixed up a bit. Very nice Soldbuch to a combat medic, full of interesting entries which is worth more research.
