Nice black wound badge award document awarded to Alois Jorg of Artillerie Regiment 123. The document has been awarded in Lublin at the 17th of February 1944 for wounds received at the 25th of January 1944. It was the second time Alois Jorg got wounded. The document was signed by the Oberstabarzt und Chefarzt of Reserve-Lazarett V Lublin Virchowhaus.

 

At the time Jorg got wounded the 123rd Artillerie Regiment was part of the 123rd Infantry Division and fighting the Russians near Saporoshe in Soviet Ukraine.

 

The document is folded and has some wear to it, but remains in an excellent condition. No repairs, no damage!

 

Would make an interesting research project!
