Iron Cross 1st Class by Friedrich Orth, Wien. Three piece magnetic construction with most of its enamel intact. The medal is marked on the pin with PKZ code "L15" indicating production by Friedrich Orth. Orth had the Präsidialkanzlei number of “15” assigned to them but inadvertently marked some of their crosses “L15” which was the code actually assigned to Otto Schickle of Pforzheim. Excellent cross in great condition. No repairs, no damage.
