Very nice and interesting WW2 KIA Purple Heart document. The document is named to Private First Class Boris Gordon (service number: 35267770), member of the 160th Infantry Regiment of the 40th Infantry Division. Gordon received a Bronze Star and Purple Heart with Oak Leaf cluster during his service. Gordon was KIA on the 20th of April 1945 during the fighting over the Japanese held Philippines. Gordon is buried at Plot F, Row 3, Grave 43, Manila American Cemetery, Manila, Philippines. The Purple Heart award certificate was awarded on the 20th of July 1945. The award certificate remains in a very good condition as can be seen on the photos. No repairs, no damage.

Very nice and interesting KIA Purple Heart document which deserves some further research!
