WW2 KIA Purple Heart Document, 79th Infantry Division, Fighting around Emberménil (Northern France) 1944

Very nice and interesting WW2 KIA Purple Heart document. The document is named to Private John F. Murray (service number: 34889245), member of B Company, 313th Infantry Regiment of the 79th Infantry Division. Murray was KIA on the 13th of October 1944 during the fighting in and around Emberménil, Northern France. Murray is buried back home in the US. The Purple Heart award certificate was awarded on the 19th of December 1944. The award certificate remains in a very good condition as can be seen on the photos. No repairs, no damage.
