Lappland Shield Award Document Grouping Gebirgsjäger Regiment 218 (7. Gebirgs Division)

Nice and hard to find Lappland shield award document grouping awarded to Oberfeldwebel Ludwig Schertzelmeier, member of the 13. Kompanie of the Gebirgsjäger Regiment 218, 7. Gebirgs Division. Schertzelmeier served all of his career with the 99. Leichten Infanterie Division which later on became the 7. Gebirgs Division. He served in the campaigns in Poland, Ukraine, Finnland/Lappland and lastly Norway. The document grouping consists of the following documents:

- Infanterie Sturmabzeichen award in 1940 with 1./Grz J.R. 128
- Eiserne Kreuz 1. Klasse awarded in 1941 with 7./Inf. Rgt. 218 (with facsimile signature of Generalleutnant and Divisionskommandeur 'Kurt von der Chevallerie')
- Verwundetenabzeichen Silber awarded in 1944 with 7./Geb. Jag. Rgt. 218
- Lapplandschild awarded in 1945 with 13./Geb. Jag. Rgt 218
- 2x Extra non combat related documents.

The documents are folded and have some wear to it, but remain in good condition. Excellent set to find out more about! No repairs, no damage!
