Wehrpass Gebirgs Artillerie Regiment 82 (7. Gebirgs Division) Poland/France/Ukraine/Arctic Front

A very nice and complete wehrpass to Unteroffizier Albert Geiger. Joined the Wehrmacht in November 1938. He first saw action with Rgt. Nachr. Zug Art. Rgt. 17 during the Poland & France Campaigns in 1939 and 1940. He received the Iron Cross 2nd Class for his actions in France. Afterwhich he was forwarded to Gebirgs Artillerie Regiment 82 at the end of 1940. With this regiment of the 7. Gebirgs Division Geiger served in Ukraine and later on the Arctic front. Halfway 1944 he got wounded on the Arctic Front but not long after returned to his unit to eventually retreat with the rest of the 7. Gebirgs Division out of Russia and Finland into Norway. Here Geiger went into captivity and received his Lappland shield in 1945.

 

The Wehrpass albeit denazified is in excellent and complete condition. No repairs, no damage!
