Nice black wound badge award document awarded to Gefreiten Walter Fischer of Pionier Bataillon 34. The document has been awarded in the field at the 2nd of March 1943 for wounds received at the 26th of February 1943. It was the first time Walter Fischer got wounded. The document was signed by the Hauptmann und Btl.-Kommandeur.

At the time Fischer got wounded the 34th Pionier Bataillon was part of the 34th Infantry Division and fighting the Russians near Orel in Russia.

The document is folded and has some wear to it, but remains in an excellent condition. No repairs, no damage!
