An original complete WW2 cased Purple Heart medal with Dogtag. The medal comes in its original case of issue together with its ribbon bar and lapel pin. The medal comes with a slot brooch, indicating production during WW2. The set comes with the Dogtag of the soldier (George W Wilcox) who this Purple Heart set belonged to. Wilcox was most likely KIA. The medal is in excellent condition. The case however is in a very rough shape. This set would make an interesting research project! Great set in good condition! No repairs, no damage.
